Delete your Watchu Want account
You can delete your Watchu Want account and all of its data at any time.
In the app (immediate)
- Open Watchu Want and tap your account icon, top right on the Shows screen.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete account and data.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
By email
If you can't open the app, email privacy@nutritrackai.eu from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Watchu Want account”. We'll delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in (email address) in Google Firebase Authentication.
- Everything synced to our server: tracked shows, watched episodes and their dates, movies and watch dates, ratings and notes, custom lists, archived shows, rewatches, favourites, “Not interested” titles and your language choice.
The optional usage count isn’t linked to an account, so deleting your account doesn’t remove its entries; they are deleted on their own after 13 months. Encrypted backups of our server are kept for 7 days. Data you delete, including a deleted account, can remain in these backups for up to 7 days before it's gone for good. Data stored only on your phone (your library if you never signed in, and your settings) is removed when you uninstall the app.
